Music

Worshipping God is the key to a victorious Christian life!
Leading others in worship is also a great blessing.

Involvement in the Music Ministry provides the opportunity to do both.

Praising and worshipping God through singing is an integral part of the Christian life and the overall ministry of Oak View.
Our goal is that the song service be a prelude of praise to the preaching of God's Word. Our desire is to honor Christ by being true to His Word and by encouraging and inspiring the congregation through the singing of the old Hymns of our faith as well as praise and worship chorus’.

Adult Choir

Our choir is a volunteer organization with a desire to strive for excellence. It is our goal to continue to grow in all areas. Spiritually, musically, and numerically are the areas that come to mind first. In order for any organization to meet the requirements for excellence there must be some semblance of order and understanding among those who choose to participate.

Group participation requires individual discipline and determination.
Whether in practice or performance, singing God’s praises and fellowshipping with other like-minded Christians should be a joyous experience. It is our goal to make each rehearsal not only productive but enjoyable as well.

As we strive to give of our best in preparation and presentation, it is vital that we make attendance to weekly rehearsal and worship services a priority. We rehearse each Wednesday evening from 6:30-8 P.M. and Sunday afternoons from 5-5:45 P.M.

At all times let us keep in mind this basic principle: If a ministry of our Lord is worthy of our service, it is also worthy of our best effort and effective use of our God-given talent. To that end, may our lives be dedicated and our ministries blessed that He alone might receive the honor and glory.

“…whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
              I Corinthians 10:31

Children's Choir

Joyful Noise is a Christ centered choral ministry for children ages K-5th grades. Led by godly leaders teaching music that embodies strong doctrinally sound music but on a child’s level of understanding. Joyful Noise participates in the Christmas presentation with the adult choir and each spring they present a musical they have prepared beginning in January.

They rehearse every Sunday evening from 6-7 P.M.
