Read the Bible for Life

Created and preserved by the hand of God, the Bible was written over a period of 1,500 years by at least 39 authors.  Its 66 books include a variety of literary types.  Yet in spite of its diversity, the Bible is unified by one story-the story of God’s persistent love for sinful people and His passionate desire to redeem them as His own.

Read the Bible for Life will help you grasp this grand story of Scripture.  You will learn how the various books of the Bible fit together to present that story and communicate God’s redemptive message.  And you will discover new skills for listening to, understanding, and responding to God’s Word in ways that will change your life.  God is waiting to reveal Himself through the pages of His word as you read the Bible for life.

Over the next year we, as a church, are going to offer several different opportunities for you to Read the Bible for Life.  This will include a one year plan for you and your family to read the Bible.  More information will be presented in the coming weeks.
