Senior Adults
Young At Heart is a group of senior adults who are well named as they truly are “young at heart”, and filled with energy. They meet every 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month for different events, most often sharing a time of Bible study followed by lunch fellowship at a local restaurant.
This group sponsors two major trips each year, i.e., Amish Country in Penn., Savannah Ga., Charleston S.C., Celebrators Conf. in Pigeon Forge TN, to mention a few. They will often use their monthly meetings to visit prospective church members, shut-ins, and nursing homes.
The Young At Heart group of Oak View is a vibrant and exciting ministry for senior adults to get involved with. They have carried the standard many years and set the bar high as they have lived the example before us.
