American Heritage Girls (AHG) was founded by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters in 1995. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls (ages 5-17) across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement. 

AHG Troop NC4125 meets on Tuesday evenings during the school year at Oak View Baptist.

Trail Life (TL) is a church-based, Christ-centered, and boy-focused mentoring and outdoor adventure organization for boys from kindergarten through high school (ages 5–17). Founded in 2013 as a traditional alternative to Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America), it emphasizes biblical values, character development, and leadership training led by male mentors. Our Mission is to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.
